Mechanism Of Action Of Triprolidine & Guaifenesin

• Chlorpheniramine is an anti-histaminic drug.
• Guaifenesin is an expectorant commonly found in OTC products for the symptomatic relief from congested chests and coughs associated with cold, bronchitis, and/or other breathing illnesses.
• it is believed that expectorants like guaifenesin function by increasing mucus secretion

Method Of Administration Of Soolan Syrup

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Doses may change from patient to patient based on your age, your medical condition, and whether or not you are taking other medicines.
• Children 6-12 years: 5ml up to 4 times per day.
• Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 10ml up to 4 times per day.

• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
