Diclofenac is an NSAID acts an analgesic, anti-inflammatory & antipyretic used to treat multiple disease
Diclofenac is an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which is responsible for prostaglandin synthesis, an integral part of the pain and inflammation pathway.

Joint, muscle or tendon pain
Attacks of gout; a common form of inflammatory arthritis that is very painful. It usually affects one joint at a time (often the big toe joint).
Pain and swelling after surgery
Sprains, strains, dislocations and fractures and other injuries
Gynecology problems such as period pain.
Inflammation of the bones and joints such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Back pain.

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Doses may change from patient to patient based on your age, your medical condition and whether or not you are taking other medicines.
Take with or right after a meal to reduce stomach upset
The usual dosing is 25 – 50 mg, 2 or 3 times daily.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:

Stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, wind, and loss of appetite
Headache, dizziness, and vertigo
Skin rash or spots
Fast or irregular heartbeat (palpitations), chest pain, and heart disorders

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Your doctor will discuss the possible risks and benefits of using this medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding

Keep your joints moving. Do daily, gentle stretches that move your joints through their full range of motion.

You have a history of stomach bleeding or ulcers.
You are dehydrated, for example by a prolonged bout of vomiting or diarrhea.
You have swelling due to fluid retention.
You have a history of heart failure, or any other form of heart disease.
You have a history of high blood pressure.
You have a history of liver or kidney disease.
You are being treated for an infection. This medicine can mask or hide a fever, which is a sign of infection.
You have diabetes, high cholesterol, or are a smoker. These can increase your risk of heart disease.
You are a woman trying to become pregnant.
You are over 65 years of age.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements.
