• Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet agent that inhibits platelet aggregation by irreversibly binding to the P2Y12 ADP receptor, preventing activation of the glycoprotein IIb/IIIa complex.

• The usual dose for clopidogrel is 75mg once a day.
• Your doctor may prescribe clopidogrel with or instead of low-dose aspirin.
