• Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet agent that inhibits platelet aggregation by irreversibly binding to the P2Y12 ADP receptor, preventing activation of the glycoprotein IIb/IIIa complex.

• Used in cases of:

1. Prevention of blood clots (thrombi) forming in hardened blood vessels (arteries).
2. Prevention of atherothrombotic events (such as stroke, heart attack, or death).

Method Of Administration Of Paleta 75 Mg Film Coated Tablets

• The recommended dose, including for patients with a condition called ‘atrial fibrillation’ (an irregular heartbeat), is one 75 mg tablet of Clopidogrel per day to be taken orally with or without food, and at the same time each day.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
