- Allopurinol is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor
- Inhibits the conversion of hypoxanthine to xanthine to uric acid thus it decreases the production of uric acid without disrupting the synthesis of vital purines

Method Of Administration Of No-Uric 100 Mg Tablets
- Always take Allopurinol tablets exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- Swallow the tablet with a drink of water.
- Take it with or just after food.
- The usual starting dose in adults is between 100 mg and 300 mg a day taken as a single dose.
