Mechanism Of Action Of Hydrophilic Methacreamylate Gel

  • It chemically binds oxygen radicals originating during inflammatory processes

Therapeutic Indications Of Hemagel Gel

  • Hemagel offers a unique solution for wound healing of both acute wounds like small injuries at home, during sports or games, and chronic wounds such as varicose ulcer, diabetic foot, bedsores, postoperative and other skin damages. Moist surrounding during wound healing is a modern and basic principle of treatment. Steady moisture in the wound prevents scab creation and so helps to accelerate the healing process.

Method Of Administration Of Hemagel Gel

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
  • Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • The recommended instruction for use:
  • Cleanse the wound from mechanic impurities, e. g. dust particles rest of previous healing materials which could subsequently irritate and damage the wound
  • Open the tube by turning over the lid and stabbing it into the tube.
  • Apply a small amount of the gel onto the whole wound undersurface. The gel adheres to the wound undersurface and gradually absorbs discharges and other liquids from the wound.
  • Cover the wound with a sterile square preferably from nonwoven fabric and fix it with a bandage or plaster
  • Redress as necessary every 24 – 48 hours. We recommend more frequent replacements in the case of infected wounds.
  • Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
  • If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
  • If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
  • Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

 

Undesirable Side Effects Of Hemagel Gel

  • Although side effects are not common in everyone, stop using this product and contact your healthcare provider if you experience any allergic reactions, like rash, itching, red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin, wheezing, difficulty breathing, and chest tightness.

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Warnings & Special Precautions while Taking Hemagel Gel

  • Stop the medication right away and talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you develop any allergic or skin reactions to any of the ingredients present in this ointment such as Skin itchiness, skin redness, shortness of breath, skin rash, swelling of the face or neck, decreased blood pressure, and dizziness.
  • This medicine is designed for external topical use only. Do not swallow this product.
  • Use your medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, do not use it for other purposes.
  • Do not repeat the same prescription without talking to your doctor first.

 

Storage Conditions Of Hemagel Gel

  • Store below 25°c
