Fevadol Plus, Analgesic & Antipyretic - 20 Tablets

Paracetamol acts on the hypothalamus to produce an antipyretic effect, as fever develops when the hypothalamus is set to a higher-than-normal temperature.
Paracetamol works peripherally to block pain impulse generation; may also inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in CNS

It is an antipyretic used to treat fever. Fever is a temporary increase in your body temperature.

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.

Doses may change from patient to patient based on your age, your medical condition and whether or not you are taking other medicines, so always follow your physician instruction
Adults: Take 1 to 2 tablets orally every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Make sure not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Adolescents aged 16 to 18 years: Take 1 to 2 tablets orally every 6 hours as needed. Make sure not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Adolescents aged 12 to 15 years: Take 1 tablet orally every 6 hours as needed. Make sure not to exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.
Children under 12 years of age: Do not give this medication to children under 12 years of age.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:

Constipation
Dizziness
Vomiting
Drowsiness
Exacerbation of headaches and medication dependence if used for a long period of time
Nausea

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
