Mechanism Of Action Of Clomifene

• Clomifene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that stimulates ovulation by inhibiting the negative feedback of estrogen on the hypothalamus.

Therapeutic Indications Of  Fertab50 Clomifene Tablets

• Used in cases of ovulation in women with certain medical conditions (such as polycystic ovary syndrome) that prevent naturally occurring ovulation.

Method Of Administration Of Fertab50 Clomifene Tablets

• The recommended dose of Fertab-50 Clomifene Tablets is to take one tablet by mouth, swallowed whole with a drink of water, and not crushed or chewed, for five days at a time, starting on the fifth day of the menstrual cycle or at any time if there is an absence of a menstrual period.
• Do not take more than two tablets in one day and do not take the tablets for more than five days at a time.
• Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.

• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
