Castor oil is known as a stimulant laxative. It works by increasing the movement of the intestines, helping the stool to come out.

Constipation is generally described as having fewer than three bowel movements a week.
Though occasional constipation is very common, some people experience chronic constipation that can interfere with their ability to go about their daily tasks. Chronic constipation may also cause people to strain excessively to have a bowel movement

For constipation: 15 mL orally once
For colonic evacuation: 15-60 mL orally once, 16 hours before the procedure
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop urticaria, rash, tightness of the chest, wheezing, hypotension

You are allergic to any of its content
You have gastrointestinal obstruction or perforation, severe impaction, symptoms of appendicitis or acute surgical abdomen, ulcerative colitis, rectal fissures

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
