This medication is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes
Common causes for dry eyes include wind, sun, heating/air conditioning, computer use/reading, and certain medications.
It may also be used to treat dry eye caused by the use of contact lenses.

Eye preparation are usually sterile, so ensure that the container is not damaged before use and also replace the cap after taking your dose (In case of using a single-use dose unit, throw the used unit away after using them)

With the other hand, hold the eye drop bottle upside down near to your eye. Try not to touch your eye as you do this.
Apply enough pressure to release one drop (or vial contents) into your eye.
Ensure that the medication entered your eye
Close your eye for a minute or two, and press gently on the side of your nose, this prevents the loss of your eye drops and keeps the drug where it should be.
Recommended dose is 1 or 2 drops (or vials) in the affected eye(s) as needed.
Higher dose may be prescribed in cases of severe dryness

Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Frequent reading, TV watching, and computer use can dry out your eyes, so it’s important to ensure resting of your eyes
If you are using contact lenses, sometimes it is advised to decrease hours of wearing them. Also, ensure change them on time (Know the type of lens whether single use or for period of time)
Avoid direct exposure to the sun and wear sunglasses
Ensure well hydration and drinking a lot of water

If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
If you experience changes in your vision or eye pain
If you experience eye irritation or redness that is getting worse or that persists for more than 72 hours.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medications including over-the-counter non-prescription medicines, prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and supplements.

Don’t refrigerate the unopened container
Not to be used for more than 28 days after opening the container, unless otherwise is advised by your pharmacist.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the box/blisters/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
